I started the cleaning business with a friend in 2005, when we decided to ditch the corporate suits for a more flexible lifestyle. We cleaned for 2 years to establish the business and client base. When I fell pregnant this made the need to hire staff essential and although we were reluctant to give up the reigns, it was only a positive for the business.
In 2011 my friend and I split the partnership, as I had moved to Livingston. This is when White Cleaning was created and now I have a fantastic manager, team and client base. I’m very proud of the business and hope all my clients realise how much I value them and additionally how important the team are to me. They are really the people who make it a success and I will always remember that!
For me the business is an additional security for my family. I have a son called Spencer aged 10, who has been around the business since birth and as a result knows how to dust very well! I also have my partner Scott and his son in my life so the business helps support our family needs.
I joined the company as a cleaner in 2009. Over the last eight years, I have seen the business thrive and I am now proud to manage a small, tight-knit group.
